Manley Wildcats (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Austin College and Career Academy Tigers (Chicago, IL), 57-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Manley upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Comer (Chicago, IL) to play the Catamounts in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Catamounts go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Comer lost 79-60 in their recent league bout against Johnson (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Perspectives-IIT/Joslin Wolves (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - White West bout, on Thursday, January 25. Austin College and Career Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 61-43 league loss to Wells (Chicago, IL).
