The Belleville Wildcats basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting Marshall Cardinals to 69 in the Wildcats league victory on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeside Lutheran for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Belleville will battle a Warriors team coming off a 48-41 league win over Columbus (Columbus, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 14-1.

The Cardinals (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lomira (Lomira, WI). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Lomira prevailed over Mayville (Mayville, WI), 73-42, in a league contest.
