The Belvidere Bucs basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Boylan Catholic Titans to 45 in the Bucs league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bucs now sport a 4-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belvidere North for a Northern Illinois 10 contest on Friday, January 26. Belvidere will meet a Blue Thunder team coming off a 64-50 league loss to Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Blue Thunder record now stands at 16-7.
The Titans (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL). The Knights enter the Northern Illinois 10 contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Rockford Auburn nudged Rockford East (Rockford, IL), 64-43, in a league contest.
