The Charlestown Townies (Charlestown, MA) basketball knocked off the visiting Burke Bulldogs (Dorchester, MA), 94-84 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Townies (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Brighton (Brighton, MA). The Bengals go into the Freelance test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Brighton went down by Boston English (Boston, MA), 54-40, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they host New Mission for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. Burke will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 77-28 league win over Community Academy of Science & Health (Hyde Park, MA). The Titans record now stands at 8-4.
