In Wednesday's league outing, the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Guilderland Flying Dutchmen (Guilderland Center, NY), by a count of 69-56.

The Spartans (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Plainsmen go into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Shenendehowa defeated Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY), 55-44, in a league outing.

The Flying Dutchmen now hold a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Saratoga Springs for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue outing on Friday, January 26. Guilderland will clash with a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 60-46 non-league win over Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa, NY). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 8-7.
