New York High School Basketball - Fort Plain thwarts Canajoharie

The Fort Plain Hilltoppers (Fort Plain, NY) basketball knocked off the visiting Canajoharie Cougars (Canajoharie, NY), 60-50 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers (7-10) will now prepare for their test against Duanesburg (Delanson, NY). The Eagles go into the Section 2 Western - Mohawk test with a 13-2 record. In their last test, Duanesburg notched a victory over Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY), 88-38, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Berne-Knox-Westerlo for a Section 2 Western - Hudson test on Friday, January 26. Canajoharie will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-47 non-league win over Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-4.
