The Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS) basketball nipped the host Saltillo Tigers (Saltillo, MS), 61-57 in Wednesday's league test.
The Mustangs (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS). The Conquistadors go into the 6A Region 1 test with a 17-5 record.
The Tigers now own a 14-8 record. They play next when they travel to Grenada for a 6A Region 1 test on Thursday, January 25. Saltillo will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 63-47 league win over South Panola (Batesville, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 7-11.
