The Village Vikings (Houston, TX) basketball felled the host Concordia Lutheran Crusaders (Tomball, TX), 67-47 in Wednesday's league test.
The Vikings (15-13) will now prepare for their test against St. Pius X (Houston, TX). The Panthers go into the TAPPS 6A District 2 test with a 13-13 record. In their last test, St. Pius X thwarted St. Thomas Catholic (Houston, TX), 59-56, in a league test.
The Crusaders now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Central Catholic for a TAPPS 6A District 2 test on Friday, January 26. Concordia Lutheran will encounter a Buttons squad coming off a 76-67 league loss to St. Pius X (Houston, TX). The Buttons record now stands at 12-14.
