The Cruz Dragons basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Morgan Park Academy Warriors to 50 in the Dragons league triumph on Wednesday.

The Dragons now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waldorf for a Lakeshore contest on Friday, January 26. Cruz will meet a Thunder team coming off a 64-52 league loss to Christian Heritage Academy (Northfield, IL). The Thunder record now stands at 2-10.

The Warriors (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against British International School of Chicago (Chicago, IL). The enter the Lakeshore contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, British International School of Chicago was outscored by Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus (Chicago, IL), 72-40, in a league contest.
