The Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers (Granada Hills, CA) basketball nipped the visiting East Valley Falcons (North Hollywood, CA), 44-43 in Wednesday's league test.

The Vipers (16-8) will now prepare for their test against Northridge Academy (Northridge, CA). The Pumas go into the Valley test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Northridge Academy was tipped by Cleveland (Reseda, CA), 65-42, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now own a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sherman Oaks CES for a Valley test on Friday, January 26. East Valley will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 76-34 league win over Vaughn (San Fernando, CA). The Knights record now stands at 12-12.
