The Saugatuck Trailblazers basketball team scored 85 points and restricted the visiting Eau Claire Beavers to 47 in the Trailblazers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Trailblazers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gobles for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Saugatuck will battle a Tigers team coming off a 51-26 non-league win over Bloomingdale (Bloomingdale, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 4-8.

The Beavers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against River Valley (Three Oaks, MI). The Mustangs come into the Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, River Valley was routed by Our Lady of the Lake Catholic (St. Joseph, MI), 68-40, in a league contest.
