The Edwin O. Smith Panthers (Storrs, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Stafford Bulldogs (Stafford Springs, CT), 57-49 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Panthers (7-6) will now prepare for their test against South Windsor (South Windsor, CT). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, South Windsor notched a victory over Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT), 64-59, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Coventry for a North Central Connecticut test on Friday, January 26.
