The Torrance Tartars basketball team (Torrance, CA), dropped 62-43 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA)

The Eagles now possess a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host South for a Pioneer battle on Friday, January 26. El Segundo will battle a Spartans team coming off a 59-55 league loss to North (Torrance, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 14-11.

The Tartars (8-17) will now prepare for their battle against West (Torrance, CA). The Warriors come into the Pioneer battle with a 16-9 record. In their last battle, West prevailed over Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA), 48-45, in a league battle.
