The Granby Comets basketball team (Norfolk, VA), was toppled 48-40 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Norview Pilots (Norfolk, VA)
The Pilots now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manor for a Eastern battle on Friday, January 26. Norview will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 80-58 non-league win over Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-13.
The Comets (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Maury (Norfolk, VA). The Commodores come into the Eastern battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Maury beat Churchland (Portsmouth, VA), 53-52, in a league battle.
