The L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders basketball team (Macomb, MI), was toppled 71-61 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI)
The Blue Devils now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dakota for a Macomb Area - Red battle on Friday, January 26. Grosse Pointe South will confront a Cougars team coming off a 65-49 league loss to Roseville (Roseville, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 8-8.
The Crusaders (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Big Reds come into the Macomb Area - Red battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Chippewa Valley beat Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI), 57-40, in a league battle.
