The Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL) basketball felled the visiting Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL), 72-52 in Wednesday's league test.
The Vikings (17-4) will now prepare for their test against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies go into the Northern Illinois 10 test with a 8-14 record. In their last test, Harlem thwarted Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL), 64-50, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Freeport for a Northern Illinois 10 test on Friday, January 26. Hononegah will encounter a Pretzels squad coming off a 58-48 league win over Jefferson (Rockford, IL). The Pretzels record now stands at 12-10.
