Gustine Reds (Gustine, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Le Grand Bulldogs (Le Grand, CA), 65-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Gustine upgrades its record to 6-17 on the season. The Reds travel to Mariposa County (Mariposa, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a Southern League bout on Friday, January 26. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Mariposa County lost 61-58 in their recent non-league bout against Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Denair Coyotes (Denair, CA) in a Southern League bout, on Friday, January 26. Le Grand will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Coyotes go into the bout with a 9-13 record after their 80-35 league loss to Orestimba (Newman, CA).
