The State College Little Lions basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Harrisburg Cougars to 55 in the Little Lions league victory on Wednesday.

The Little Lions now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carlisle for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest on Friday, January 26. State College will battle a Thundering Herd team coming off a 44-37 league win over Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA). The Thundering Herd record now stands at 13-3.

The Cougars (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA). The Rams come into the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Central Dauphin prevailed over Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA), 65-61, in a league contest.
