Georgia High School Basketball - Howard ripped by Rutland

The Rutland Hurricanes basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Howard Huskies to 51 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spencer for a AA Region 2 contest on Friday, January 26. Rutland will battle a Greenwave team coming off a 77-43 league win over Kendrick (Columbus, GA). The Greenwave record now stands at 15-2.
The Huskies (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Westside (Macon, GA). The Seminoles enter the AAAA Region 2 contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Westside was routed by Spalding (Griffin, GA), 55-39, in a league contest.
