West Virginia High School Basketball - Nicholas County knocked off by Lewis County

January 24, 2024: Weston, WV 26452

The Lewis County Minutemen basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Nicholas County Grizzlies to 44 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Minutemen now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elkins for a Big Ten contest on Friday, January 26.

The Grizzlies (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against WestSide (Clear Fork, WV). The Renegades enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, WestSide ran past Mingo Central (Matewan, WV), 70-52, in a non-league contest.
