The Midland Timberwolves basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats to 36 in the Timberwolves non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Timberwolves now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seneca for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Midland will meet a Fighting Irish team coming off a 66-32 non-league win over St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 16-7.
The Wildcats (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL). The Cyclones enter the non-league contest with a 3-16 record.
