The Marlboro Mustangs (Marlboro, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Princeton Tigers (Princeton, NJ), 54-44 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Howell (Farmingdale, NJ). The Rebels go into the Shore A - North test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Howell went down by Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, NJ), 67-44, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lawrence for a Colonial Valley test on Friday, January 26. Princeton will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 60-49 non-league loss to Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-10.
