Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host White County Central Bears (Judsonia, AR), 89-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Marshall upgrades its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR) to play the Greyhounds in a 2A Region 2 bout on Friday, January 26. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a record of 22-8. Sloan-Hendrix lost 57-52 in their recent league bout against Izard County (Brockwell, AR)

Next up, the Bears play the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) in a 2A Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 26. White County Central will attempt to upgrade on its 11-18 season record. The Timberwolves come into the bout with a 20-5 record after their 71-61 league win over Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR).
