Oswayo Valley Green Wave (Shinglehouse, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Smethport Hubbers (Smethport, PA), 53-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Oswayo Valley upgrades its record to 2-11 on the campaign. The Green Wave host Coudersport (Coudersport, PA) to play the Falcons in a North Tier bout on Friday, January 26. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 7-7.

Next up, the Hubbers play the Cameron County Raiders (Emporium, PA) in a North Tier bout, on Friday, January 26. Smethport will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 60-47 league loss to Otto-Eldred (Duke Center, PA).
