Florida High School Basketball - Stanton crushes River City Science Academy

January 24, 2024: Jacksonville, FL 32216

Stanton Blue Devils (Jacksonville, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host River City Science Academy Rockets (Jacksonville, FL), 65-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Stanton upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Blue Devils host St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park, FL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 17-3. St. Johns Country Day won 65-26 in their recent non-league bout against St. Johns Classical Academy (Fleming Island, FL)

Next up, the Rockets play the Harvest Community Warriors (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. River City Science Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 78-40 non-league win over Faith Christian Academy (Yulee, FL).
