The Sierra Linda Bulldogs basketball team (Phoenix, AZ), was overwhelmed 63-38 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ)

The Jaguars now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a 5A Metro battle on Saturday, January 27. South Mountain will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 70-60 non-league win over Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Bobcats record now stands at 14-5.

The Bulldogs (1-17) will now prepare for their battle against McClintock (Tempe, AZ). The Chargers come into the 5A Metro battle with a 18-5 record. In their last battle, McClintock was overwhelmed by Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ), 55-49, in a non-league battle.
