Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Sullivan East Patriots (Bluff City, TN) and the visiting Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA), saw Sullivan East's basketball squad overcome Union by a tally of 67-54.

With the victory, Sullivan East improves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Patriots host Non Varsity Opponent (, ) to confront the in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The come into the challenge with a record of 111-207.

Next up, the Bears confront the Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA) in a Mountain challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Union will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record.
