Virginia High School Basketball - Woodson can't hold off Alexandria City

The Alexandria City Titans basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Woodson Cavaliers to 39 in the Titans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Titans now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robinson for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Alexandria City will battle a Rams team coming off a 64-38 non-league win over Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Rams record now stands at 7-4.
The Cavaliers (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against South County (Lorton, VA). The Stallions come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record.
