In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad nipped the visiting Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM), by a margin of 49-48.
The Hawks (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Cibola got by Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 48-43, in a non-league outing.
