The Ponderosa Bruins basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Nevada Union Miners to 40 in the Bruins league victory on Wednesday.
The Bruins now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Placer for a contest on Friday, January 26. Ponderosa will battle a Hillmen team coming off a 61-47 league win over Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 8-13.
The Miners (17-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras come into the contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Lincoln was defeated by West Park (Roseville, CA), 84-32, in a league contest.
