Bay City Western Warriors (Auburn, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Arthur Hill Lumberjacks (Saginaw, MI), 42-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Bay City Western upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Warriors host Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI) to play the Cavaliers in a Saginaw Valley bout on Friday, January 26. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Carman-Ainsworth won 57-45 in their recent league bout against Davison (Davison, MI)

Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Midland Chemics (Midland, MI) in a Saginaw Valley bout, on Friday, January 26. Arthur Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Chemics go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 37-27 league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI).
