William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Baldwin Bears (Bryn Mawr, PA), 70-34 in a league bout.

With the win, William Penn Charter upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Quakers travel to Agnes Irwin (Rosemont, PA) to play the Owls in a Inter-Academic bout on Friday, January 26. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 7-8.

Next up, the Bears play the Renaissance Academy Knights (Phoenixville, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Baldwin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 29-19 league win over Jenkintown (Jenkintown, PA).
