California High School Basketball - Battle Mountain beaten by North Tahoe

January 24, 2024: Tahoe City, CA 96161

In Wednesday's league match, the host North Tahoe Lakers basketball team scored a good 49-32 triumph over the Battle Mountain Longhorns.

In their next game, the Lakers face the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) in a 2A Northern match, on Saturday, January 27. North Tahoe will attempt to move on its 15-2 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 14-7 record after their 54-30 league win over Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV).

With the defeat, Battle Mountain moves to 13-8 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV) to face the Mustangs in a 2A Northern match on Friday, January 26. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 18-1. Pershing County won 64-38 in their recent league match against Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV)
