Benton Panthers (Benton, AR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lakeside Rams (Hot Springs, AR), 61-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Benton upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Panthers host El Dorado (El Dorado, AR) to play the Wildcats in a 5A South bout on Friday, January 26. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-13. El Dorado won 52-39 in their recent league bout against White Hall (White Hall, AR)

Next up, the Rams play the White Hall Bulldogs (White Hall, AR) in a 5A South bout, on Friday, January 26. Lakeside will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 52-39 league loss to El Dorado (El Dorado, AR).
