The Wickliffe Blue Devils (Wickliffe, OH) basketball nipped the host Berkshire Badgers (Burton, OH), 44-39 in Wednesday's league test.
The Blue Devils (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Crestwood (Mantua, OH). The Red Devils go into the Chagrin Valley - Valley test with a 8-9 record.
The Badgers now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Cuyahoga Heights for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. Berkshire will encounter a Red Wolves squad coming off a 53-28 league win over Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH). The Red Wolves record now stands at 12-2.
