The Lower Cape May Tigers basketball team scored 35 points and held the host Cape May County Tech Hawks to 31 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Atlantic County Institute of Tech for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Lower Cape May will meet a team coming off a 59-17 non-league win over St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ). The record now stands at 13-2.
The Hawks (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Buena (Buena, NJ). The Chiefs enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Buena was nudged by Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ), 21-18, in a non-league contest.
