The Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH) basketball knocked off the host Catholic Central Irish (Springfield, OH), 47-30 in Wednesday's league test.
The Knights (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Cedarville (Cedarville, OH). The Indians go into the Ohio Heritage test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Cedarville notched a victory over Madison Plains (London, OH), 35-30, in a league test.
The Irish now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Southeastern Local for a Ohio Heritage test on Saturday, January 27. Catholic Central will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 41-33 league loss to Greeneview (Jamestown, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 13-4.
