The Conroe Tigers basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host New Caney Eagles to 24 in the Tigers league victory on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 12-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Oaks for a 6A Region II District 13 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Conroe will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 45-34 league win over New Caney (New Caney, TX). The Grizzlies record now stands at 18-13.

The Eagles (9-20) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Oaks (Spring, TX). The Grizzlies come into the 6A Region II District 13 contest with a 17-13 record. In their last contest, Grand Oaks prevailed over Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX), 43-42, in a league contest.
