California High School Basketball - Kennedy thwarts Delano

January 24, 2024: Delano, CA 93215

The Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Delano Tigers (Delano, CA), 43-29 in Wednesday's league test.

The Thunderbirds (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Wasco (Wasco, CA). The Tigers go into the South Sequoia test with a 3-18 record. In their last test, Wasco went down by Rosamond (Rosamond, CA), 59-34, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Chavez for a South Sequoia test on Friday, January 26. Delano will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 70-38 league win over McFarland (McFarland, CA). The Titans record now stands at 9-9.
