Midway Vikings (Cleveland, MO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Drexel Bobcats (Drexel, MO), 29-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Midway upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Vikings host Rich Hill (Rich Hill, MO) to play the Tigers in a Western Missouri bout on Friday, January 26. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Rich Hill lost 48-33 in their recent non-league bout against Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Archie Whirlwinds (Archie, MO) in a Western Missouri bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Drexel will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record.
