The North Stokes Vikings basketball team (Danbury, NC), dropped 60-42 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC)
The Cardinals now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Airy for a 1A Northwest battle on Friday, January 26. East Wilkes will battle a Granite Bears team coming off a 17-15 league win over Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 5-9.
The Vikings (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Buckin' Elks come into the 1A Northwest battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Elkin dropped by Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC), 17-15, in a league battle.
