St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors (Raleigh, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Father Capodanno Grunts (Vass, NC), 52-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Thomas More Academy upgrades its record to 13-10 on the season. The Chancellors host Neuse Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC) to clash with the Lions in a NCISAA Raleigh Area bout on Friday, January 26. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Neuse Christian Academy won 48-34 in their recent league bout against Thales Academy Rolesville (Rolesville, NC)

Next up, the Grunts clash with the North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Father Capodanno will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 61-17 league loss to Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC).
