The Warrensburg Burgers (Warrensburg, NY) basketball knocked off the visiting Galway Golden Eagles (Galway, NY), 47-37 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Burgers (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Whitehall (Whitehall, NY). The Railroaders go into the Section 2 Adirondack I test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Whitehall went down by Cambridge (Cambridge, NY), 41-34, in a non-league test.

The Golden Eagles now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Duanesburg for a Section 2 Western test on Friday, January 26. Galway will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 50-43 non-league win over Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 11-3.
