Michigan High School Basketball - St. Mary tops Glen Lake

St. Mary Eagles (Lake Leelanau, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Glen Lake Lakers (Maple City, MI), 52-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Mary upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Grand Traverse Academy (Traverse City, MI) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 5-6.
Next up, the Lakers play the Onekama Portagers (Onekama, MI) in a Northwest bout, on Friday, January 26. Glen Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Portagers come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 56-25 non-league win over Grand Traverse Academy (Traverse City, MI).
