Washington High School Basketball - University Prep knocked off by Granite Falls

The Granite Falls Tigers basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting University Prep Pumas to 36 in the Tigers league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bear Creek for a 1A Emerald Sound contest on Friday, January 26. Granite Falls will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 45-30 league win over South Whidbey (Langley, WA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-5.
The Pumas (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Forest Ridge Sacred Heart (Bellevue, WA). The Raven enter the 1A Emerald Sound contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Forest Ridge Sacred Heart was defeated by Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA), 44-31, in a league contest.
