The West Geauga Wolverines basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Hawken Hawks to 33 in the Wolverines league victory on Wednesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cornerstone Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. West Geauga will battle a Patriots team coming off a 44-36 non-league loss to Grand Valley (Orwell, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 11-6.

The Hawks (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH). The Lancers come into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Gilmour Academy prevailed over Richmond Heights (Richmond Heights, OH), 54-42, in a non-league contest.
