Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Trenton Bulldogs (Trenton, MO), 44-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lafayette County upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Huskers travel to Gallatin (Gallatin, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-5.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Lathrop Mules (Lathrop, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Trenton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Mules go into the bout with a 15-0 record after their 47-32 non-league win over Savannah (Savannah, MO).
