Madera South Stallions (Madera, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sunnyside Wildcats (Fresno, CA), 38-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Madera South upgrades its record to 9-13 on the season. The Stallions host Sanger West (Fresno, CA) to clash with the Hornets in a North Yosemite bout on Friday, January 26. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 7-15. Sanger West lost 39-20 in their recent league bout against Hoover (Fresno, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Fresno, CA) in a North Yosemite bout, on Friday, January 26. Sunnyside will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Rough Riders go into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 62-51 league win over Torres (Madera, CA).
