North Carolina High School Basketball - Madison trounces NCSSM: Morganton

The Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC) basketball crushed the visiting NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC), 66-7 in Wednesday's league test.

The Patriots (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Tigers go into the 1A/2A Western Highlands test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Rosman was trounced by Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC), 57-49, in a league test.

The now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Avery County for a 1A/2A Western Highlands test on Tuesday, January 30. NCSSM: Morganton will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 57-53 league win over Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 9-8.
