Maryland High School Basketball - Manchester Valley thwarts Tuscarora

January 24, 2024: Manchester, MD 21102

The Manchester Valley Mavericks (Manchester, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting Tuscarora Titans (Frederick, MD), 63-49 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Mavericks (8-7) will now prepare for their test against South Carroll (Sykesville, MD). The Cavaliers go into the Carroll County test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, South Carroll notched a victory over Long Reach (Columbia, MD), 54-30, in a non-league test.

The Titans now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Oakdale for a Central Maryland test on Friday, January 26. Tuscarora will encounter a squad coming off a 66-30 league win over Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD). The record now stands at 11-4.
